Unique insect screen protects drivers from mosquito bites and reduces solar radiation and provides for rest breaks in the truck or motorhome - with fresh air, shade and without insects.
Truck drivers have to observe the legal rest periods and therefore often take breaks in places that are not very suitable. They often stand for hours in car parks and industrial areas without being able to keep the air conditioning on permanently in summer. The open window is supposed to let fresh air into the cabin and promote restful sleep, which is indispensable for drivers when it comes to moving their vehicles safely. The problem: mosquitoes, flies and other insects are attracted by the open window, especially when there is a light on in the vehicle, and disturb the truckers' rest.
Motorhome drivers and vanlifers are also familiar with this problem. They stand in a parking lot, camping spot or in the middle of nature. You long for fresh air and draught. You often find insect screens on the sliding doors or rear doors of camper vans and panel vans, but the doors in the driver's cabin have to stay closed for lack of insect screens. Or your alcove or camper van body has many windows and also with corresponding fly screens but how much better is transverse draught.
The ClimAir company therefore offers a gauze insect screen which effectively makes the windows impermeable to insects without disturbing air circulation and at the same time provides shade!
The new insect screen from ClimAir is fitted precisely into the side windows with a specific protective frame made of black polyester. Unlike other sunshade systems, the side window can be opened further after fitting, but you are protected against intruding insects by the fine black gauze mesh. At the end of the break, the mounted insect screen can be quickly and easily installed and removed, folded in the manner of a roll-up tent and stowed in the corresponding bag. Thanks to this trick, the insect screen and sunshade can be mounted in minutes during breaks and dismantled again later and can be stored in the cabin in a space-saving way.
